... rest and we are talking to him several times a day, and have cleared his work schedule for next month (although he is not happy about this). The plan is, as soon as he is fit to travel, he will come over and stay with us for a few weeks for rest and calm (hmm with the 4 girls this will need to be managed)!. ... on foot. This afternoon we had a lovely walk around the back of town and saw some lovely old and very modern houses, some seemed like Swiss cottages and we supposed they have a lot of snow in the winter, but today it has been blue skies and about 22c. We also found a vet for Tess's booster vaccination, this should be interesting when we take her in tomorrow, as they don't speak much (if any) English, let's hope her history card & passport ...

... a reservation so I decided to get there when it opened and try my luck. I overnighted in a parking area nearby and next day I turned up at 9.15 ready for the doors to open and already there was a little crowd there. I wasn’t feeling too hopeful when I joined the queue as everyone in front had pre-booked. Luckily they had one place free in the very first group of 20 to go in that day and I got in. The guide was in French and I didn’t catch everything he was saying, but ...
