Gonna be a bright, bright sunshiny day …

Turned out to be a gorgeous early fall kind of day. I turned west again, pretty much making a big loop from Huntsville through Algonquin Park and then back to Orillia. The colours alongside the road were just as spectacular as those I saw in Algonquin Park. The problem was that there was no opportunity to get off the road to take photos until I was about an hour from Orillia. The area is also populated, of course, so there ...

Wow we love it here. Murray wanted to move here within the first couple of days. The kids took a few days to break through the shyness and they are so funny. Their house is in the 'bush' as they say and has lots of grass and a pool. We enjoyed a couple of days drinking beer by the pool. On Labour day we had a BBQ with more family around. It was great to meet new people and see family I had not seen in years. We also got to celebrate cousin Olivia's first birthday. It was a ...

We continued along the highway and there were countless waterfalls and small lakes. We saw several groups of Sandhill Cranes but most were too far away for a good picture. We did take a couple of good pictures of small waterfalls during lunch at the ...

Summer Camp was crazy. One of the most intensive things I have ever done over an extended period of time. There were highs, there were lows but overall I can say I throughly enjoyed the experience. I started my time with Camp Tamarack in Toronto which was a great way to get my head around all these new terms - sequoia, juniper, elder, hawthorn, all day, cabin periods, mini acorn and the list goes on. The two weeks in ...

      Gogamma, ontario

In Ojibway means flying fish. A little town in northern ontario that I had never heard of before. Loving the beautiful scenery and the cutest ugliest fishing lodges found randomly through out this area. Michael says we are now 5.5 hours behind schedule and when ...
