    ... half-asleep me it felt quite grey and very early. Becky, Hannah E and I went to Guelph to the girls' house, which felt a lot like returning home after Cilla and I had stayed for a few days before conference.     ... of nothing but bad news – criminal activities, corruption, their poor economy and bent politicians. Is this what people really want to hear about but which no doubt pushes up viewership ratings and hence influences the big corporations when making a choice as to where to flight their TV ads? Sad isn’t it?

    On the plus side US the diesel price was about 20% less than in Canada.

    ... And the endless servings of rice... Gosh, I am SO relieved to see they have not changed even the slightest thing on the menu!!! Ugh. However, I politely decline the chicken dish offer and opt for the beef sandwich instead, thinking the chicken will soon enough hunt me in my dreams anyway. The sandwich turns out to be eatable, I just have to pick out about a whole onion that had been sliced up and been stuffed in there...
