Off to the airport to pick up Mark who has joined us for a few days so we get to see some more of the Island. We then head up to a historical town called Erice for lunch and the views were stunning. A Sunday night stroll through the city to show the sights to Mark was a real eye opener as all the SIcilians were out promenading so we just had to stop and have a Mojito and people ...

Off to bed. This is one place I could plant myself for a full week. It's absolutely ...

Then we went to Selinunte which has a bunch of Greek temple ruins. Sicily is central in the Mediterranean and was taken over by everyone at some point. ...

... swim off shore. We didn't do that, but I'll bet Kath did it two weeks ago. Just a bit cool for a dip today. We are staying in the small fishing and tourist village next door to the site, the name of which I think is Marinella. Our hotel, The Riviera, or perhaps also known as the Hotel Garzia is pleasant and there is a deck just at the end of the hall beside us where we can sip a glass of wine as the sun goes down. It will be an even ...
