First recorded performance: according to Philip Henslowe's diary, a play called The Tamynge of A Shrowe was performed at Newington Butts on 13 June 1594. ... came at a perfect time, just as the sun was setting over Venice. We got the lift back down and went for a walk around Palazzo Ducale. After this we headed back the way we came towards Tronchetto. But before we got there we stopped and had some dinner. As we watched the locals hurry by, we sipped Coronas and had some delicious pasta, it was a great start to our time in Italy. We then headed back to Tronchetto and caught our bus to the hostel, where we hung out in the bar and drank some ...
