... by this point; some good stories and tips were shared.

The highlight of the trip that i was looking forward to the most was the Eagle feeding:

Huge birds swooping down in the dozens for the meat our boat driver threw out for them; majestic in flight, and quick with the snatch. I'm a little bit of geek when it comes to birds of prey, I just think they're class.

And it was a beautiful beach. Wide sand, fringed with palm trees and other trees providing some shade and a smooth sea. The backdrop were high mountains on which the rain forests were situated. The beach was a popular beach with the locals who were out in small numbers with ...

The final frontier

... our door to get in. The mattresses were 2 inches of foam. The mosquito nets were nowhere near the beds (or vice versa). There was no other furniture. The light switch was next to an uncovered fuse box with live wires poking out - could have met with a fatal accident if we'd tried to turn on the light during the night. And the bathroom smelled strange even before we used it. All this for the same price as our sumptuous digs in Melaka!
