There was also a scale model of both the SpaceShipOne and Voyager Aircraft. In 1986 the Voyager took 9 days as the first craft to circumnavigate the earth without a stop or refuelling. The SpaceShipOne was the first private manned space program in 2004. Both of the actual aircraft were designed & built here. Very interesting to see it all.

    A quick trip to our favorite getaway. Forecast for today is 95 degrees, with winds to 20+ MPH. We headed back to the resort via The Artists Palette, road that winds in and out of hills of many different colours.
