... 160; The wind was still blowing when we got up and got stirring, but quickly began to calm down.  I made French toast in the camper, and we all had breakfast, then watched Ghostbusters on the DVD player.  When the movie was over, we began to pack up, and by 11:30 AM we were on our way home.  The pull home was a bit interesting, with stiff winds out of the north pushing the trailer, but we made it home without incident by 1:30 PM.  All in all, a great ...

A quick trip to our favorite getaway. Forecast for today is 95 degrees, with winds to 20+ MPH. Plans for this trip include lunch at the winery with Em and Joel, and if the winds calm down some relaxing at the resort pool. A three hour nap ended shortly before Em and Joel showed up. A late lunch at the winery (with a bottle of wine for Cindy and I) meant another nap, ...

Pahrump: Lakeside RV Park We had been promising the grand kids we would take them out in the camper, and picked this weekend. In consultation with our grandson, Ben, we chose Lakeside RV Park as our destination. Unfortunately, as the chosen weekend grew closer, it became apparent that the weather was NOT going to cooperate. The Weather Channel dubbed the low pressure system that formed off the Aleutians winter storm "Titan". The future cast predicted ...
