      ... 160; The wind was still blowing when we got up and got stirring, but quickly began to calm down.  I made French toast in the camper, and we all had breakfast, then watched Ghostbusters on the DVD player.  When the movie was over, we began to pack up, and by 11:30 AM we were on our way home.  The pull home was a bit interesting, with stiff winds out of the north pushing the trailer, but we made it home without incident by 1:30 PM.  All in all, a great ...

      ... then retired at about 10 o'clock. The winds picked up during the night and rocked the trailer pretty good. A few light showers blew through in the pre-dawn hours, and the day dawned blustery and cool.       ... were hundreds or thousands of wind turbines of varying sizes and models. (I love green energy). It was also our first sighting of Joshua Trees but somehow I don't think it will be our last! We went over the range and into Mojave - on a vast flat plain.
