Travel Blogs from Chicago
On Sept. 16th 2014 I took a 16 hour flight from Chicago to Hong Kong to embark on my 70 Days of travel. A lot of people asked me why 70 Days and it just turned out that way as my plan was to head back before Thanksgiving. Well actually it was suppose to be 69 Days but I decided to stay in London a day longer and thought that 70 would have less of a sexual connotation for those Freudian minded folks out there. I will take a plane to Seattle, a train to Vancouver and then at some point rent a car when I am there. I have been intrigued by Vancouver since the 2010 Winter Olympics. I keep reading how it's the only city where you an ski and lie on the beach in the same day. As much fun as this tundra has been I'm leaving and my next stop is Graceland.

We all walked down to Willis Tower, and we're suitably stunned by the views. Will be interested to compare today's photos with the ones I took in 1978. Paddy and I went out on the Skyledge several times. Terry and Seamus refused to stand on this clear platform 110 storeys above street level (1353 feet) .
Took the train to Pizzeria Uno, home of the deep dish ...
