So excited I got very little sleep, then as the alarm went off I didn't want to get out of my cosy bed. More traffic than expected on M25, but as usual we were still in plenty of time. ... years prior, I decided to drive through Chicago and head to Indianapolis. I did offer to see my parents to their hotel which was a Residence Inn near the Midway Airport. This was a big mistake - the traffic in Chicago was sluggish and heavy. If I was smart I would've looped around the city as the trip to my parents hotel cost us and entire afternoon. I even tried to get off the slow moving highway and take the city streets - that wasn't much better.
