... the night in Paris. We cancelled our first night Maltese accommodations and got a room at the Charles de Gaulle (CDG) airport. The challenge was there were no flights we could get on from Paris to Malta on Friday. So we were booked through Frankfurt (finally a place I could use my German) on Lufthansa, on Saturday.
The Paris plane finally departed at 10:30 from Chicago and there had been another gate change, and that was, the airplane departed from K16.
I was real suprises how much I loved Chicago!! It's a beautiful well planned city. Not to busy but busy enough to have vibe. The hostel was in the city in a good spot. We walked around shopping and checking the city out. Lake Michigan lines the shores of Chicago which it was beautiful to walk alongside. It's one the of Great Lakes, and it looks like the ocean because it's so huge. It also runs through the city ...
