... mind I was wondering if this is something Jessie could learn but I'm not sure there's much chance there. The next day we woke up to salmon, fresh tomato and onions and bagels and a pot of coffee!! It didn't say breakfast was provided on the listing so this was a great surprise. The dog immediately jumped on the bed and decided to lie in a 'spooning position' this was very cute and he was such a Friendly dog. It did remind me very much of Jess which made me sad but ...

We left our little slice of heaven at 8 am Italy time and after connecting through Zurich, landed at 7pm EST - roughly 18 hours of travel time - in Tampa, Florida, United States of America. The overly officious ticket agent in Milan that checked us in made sure that our bags were the very last off the plane prolonging the torture, only to have it prolonged another hour yet by the customs agent who decided that we were a very suspicious lot indeed, sticking us in a glass holding pen ...

... splendid beasts to see up close.

We did notice at Busch Gardens a number of shall we say, large people. On one of the roller coasters that Jane went on two people were refused entry as the seat belt wouldn't fit round them! How embarrassing. We saw many people walking round with large jugs of fizzy drink and buckets of pop corn. Sad to see.

Had dinner back at the apartment tonight. Tomorrow we are off to the baseball game so looking forward to that.

... we could beat the July 4th crowd to our next major destination. With that information we decided on a restaurant so I changed out of my swimming suit and we piled in Diana’s car to go out for a decent meal.

The restaurant of choice was the Phillippi Creek Oyster Bar. My aunt asked the waitress to seat us at a table near the water so we could have a view not often seen in Illinois. The signs posted on the dock warned viewers to ...

    ... with the pungent swiss.
    - Drunken Poet - one night after catching a nice buzz from a few martinis at Mattison’s we slowly walked down to get some sushi at Drunken Poet. We all shared a Sexy Man roll (tuna, avocado, tempura eel & sexy sauce), a Spider Roll and some Pad Thai. Kaitlyn and I also split an order of Unagi and a bottle of Sake. I cannot say I have the clearest memory of how the meal tasted but I know that we all agreed that it was ...
