    ... mellow, hot springs in the hills somewhere in beautiful setting, drinks with our lovely new hostel friends, sushi and wine.

    The Chili Kiwi hostel have an incredible set up and have got it right. There is something planned every day and night (if you want it) and the staff kept our log burner burning. Its probably one of the best places we have ever stayed.

    ... just before running off the edge of a cliff, Jay thinks it was just a ploy to get resecured by the mountain guides, however it did get her heart pumping a little extra. Once the snow had finished we still had to walk down for another hour or so. We finished off the day with a chat with our new climbing mates and a beer or two at the tour company’s office (Aguaventure), whom provide a fantastic day.

    ... and we felt safe without feeling mollycoddled. They cared for our safety maybe a little more than they did their own based on some of their crazy ski jumps on the way down and a jeep tipping incident on the way back into town. We had planned on hitting the road that evening so had checked out the hostel, but we were pretty beat so instead had dinner and pisco sours with Dan and Jan then found a parking spot for the night by the lake with a sweet view of our conquest ...

    ... offered to cook dinner tonight and it was fabulous, it was butter chicken and lots of spices. It was a chilled evening as most people knew we had to be up early. Jacques and I watched our first episode of The Flash in the tent and parked cheesy as J would say. Ear plugs were needed that night as the campsite had suddenly been over run with screaming children. ...
