... Dad did amazingly well with all the odd steps we had to climb, the ramps, the drops, the uneven dirt floors, the swaying and moving ramps, etc. We did lose his hat on the boat though. It just flew right off, hit my arm and before I could realize what happened and try to grab it, it was in the water.

After delighting us with our sidewalk entrance into Alamos, our sand "road" into Las Glorias, and the Road from Hell into Tres Amigos, tall Bob and Donna next took us on a squat rowboat/ferry ride over into old Mazatlan.

I know Mexico doens't have the best reputation but I kinda figured as long as we weren't doing anything wrong and kept to a fairly well travelled track we should be ok. So far, glad to report, this seems to be the case. I have yet to feel threatened or unsafe in any of the spots we've been to, thank God. Our Rosary beads are working well!
