... to launch a discussion about the fascinating links between today's Catalonian separatist movement and the very history oozing out of the castle walls, the conversation, slowly commandeered by Che, slid into a juvenile discussion about whether I could whoop a chimpanzee in a cage match. I, due to road fatigue, engaged. "How big is the chimpanzee", I asked. "What does this have to do with Wilfred the Hairy?", asked Bethany. Yes, the important person (but not quit a ...

    Jaca to Andorra

Unfortunately not any vista points were visited so no pics, try better tomorrow. As the next week is mainly spent in mountain refuges in very isolated country not reachable by ...

... back to our accommodation of the previous night as the Plateau has nothing on it. The trail indication said it was another 3 hours to the Plateau, 600 meters up as well...we tried to ring the taxi guy but there was no signal available all the way up. The climb up was long and followed a track which was so overgrown we lost it once or twice. The Bracken ferns were higher than us so that we had to stay close together so as not to get seperated. We made the top in 2 1/2 hours at ...
