... BAM we were outta there again and on our way to Vegas!!

We hit our first bad driving conditions on day 1 in northeast Oregon. Really icy and snowy, so we didn't make it to Vegas in our original 2 day plan. We had to cut our Vegas Strip hotel reservation short by one night... but we still got there and were SO GLAD to settle in one city for a while! ... an hour and then watched the 4d marvel movie at the end of the museum. It was really good, when we got outside it was raining and windy and freezing cold. We walked in the rain to get lunch, we ate at this place we can't remember the name off , we just shared a plate of nachos. ... the exit for Vegas, the next mile takes us about an hour, welcome to Las Vegas on a Friday night! Thankfully our hotel for the night is easy to find and right next door to Planet Hollywood, where we have tickets to see Britney later. We dress for dinner and head to the Harley Davidson cafe which is just next door to our hotel. We're both fed up with chips with everything so Pete has salmon and rice and Jayne has Mac and cheese.

... car again. And they're really speeding. They fly past us and no sooner had we said 'idiot' there was movement to our right - a flash and dust. A highway patrol comes flying out from their hiding spot behind some shrubs on the side of the road. Gotcha! Best justice out.
