The mission to find the Vegas sign began. First of Karen, Peter, Matt and I went to Denny's for breakfast. Once again the size of the portions were and eye opener, my side of pancakes were a meal in themselves. Along the walk we decided to go on the New York, New York roller coaster. We we finished the day with our first truly good meal in the U.S., a Gelato and a movie in our room.
Tomorrow is destined to be around 40deg so we're heading out early for an explore of The Strip, back to the hotel for a good swim and then out for a show. X
... place in the complex. I was enjoying the clean smell of laundry and the peace and quiet. Then felt like an idiot as my favorite place in the hotel is the laundry room! I was enjoying the view of the city and drinking my Starbucks with no smoke! When we went back to our room to pack sea the laundry a woman was screaming and running down the corridor "help, etc" right outside the room. Called hotel security and they came up. I hid like a "tell-take" and ...
... were just too darn full. We walked back to the Linq to pick up our car and then it was back to the Excalibur. Of course, when we got there, Valet Parking was once again full, so it was back to the Parking Garage, which luckily had plenty of room for us. Tea, chocolate, and bed were the next things on the agenda.
