It is Sunday in Palermo. After a late breakfast we caught up on the emails and at lunch time decided to go walking. Churches are on just about every corner over here. We went to the Cathedral but found La Chiesa Di San Matteo al Cassaro. This is translated as the Church of St Matthew the Cassaro. It was open so we went in and took photos. There …

The next day (yesterday) I met downstairs for 8:30 to start work, helped show some guys to breakfast and stripped and washed the sheets of checked out beds, swept and mopped the floors, then head out with Martino on his new scooter up to the top of mount pelligrino! He told me the story of Santa Rosalia and we visited the cave where she lived. More gelato, made meatballs with Margarita, then more gelato with Martino and a girl from ...

Our final excursion on the day was to walk the beach a combination of beaches ...

... but overall it is not really a nice city, like some of the other Italian cities.

We returned around five, did some shopping in a neighboring village and had a drink a simple dish at our own place after a short swim in the pool.

It was a nice day, warm as all the other days before, with lots of impressions and lots of activity.
Will try to post some pictures as well.
