    ... carried this precious cargo from Burgundy through the Loire Valley, Normandy, on airplanes to Ireland, Scotland, by train to Windsor, England and finally to L.A. via Chicago before setting it down in front of my mother and daughter for its unveiling. It was just as magnificent as I remember it. For now it will hang in my mother's home while Rick and I move around California and Nevada visiting friends.

    ... and Walmart to look for some playmobil, which seemed to exist nowhere! Nice home, I had about half hour before we were to leave for the airport, so I showered, , packed all the stuff I bought today, and wrote a card to the Fabers. We left home just after 2, because we didn't know what the boarder lineup would be like! Thankfully the lineup was non existent, so we breezed right through.     ... The lines were long but Universal keeps you entertained the whole time you are waiting. The rides are also very cool with lots of effects. The Mummy was a roller coaster in the dark and poor Y was so scared he cried. Other than that one he was a real trooper on all the other rides.     Driving takes up a lot of time when you’re sightseeing in LA but I still kind of enjoyed the driving part. I liked to look at everything around me. It’s just very interesting. We stopped at Walmart. Oh my goodness, I’ll pop pictures down below. I found so many weird and cool food items (we didn’t go to the rest of it).
