    ... pulled by an open bus / train type thingy, we headed off around the studio lots of Universal Pictures. There is a small village area that was once the home of movie moguls and starlets. They would live here while working on set in the early days of motion pictures. Can you imagine the shena****ns that would have gone on there in the day !!
    The towns facades and props were brilliant. It's incredible how they can change ...

    HI Folks,

    This final blog is being written on a rather bumpy flight from Auckland to Los Angeles. We are just over two hours out from LA and I think the seat belt sign has been on for the most of the last ten hours. Nothing too dramatic but bumpy enough to spill my red wine at dinner. Not my fault this time or maybe it was… I hadn't drank enough of it to stop it sloshing out of the glass! However it didn’t stop us sleeping on ...

    ... the shuttle who is joining Princess for his very first contract. He’ll be a paramedic training for one week on the Sapphire before fulfilling his four months on another ship. We arrived at the hotel and showed them our joining letters and we were told to sit and wait. We talked for about 40 minutes before anyone actually helped get us to our rooms! SO ready for a BED! ...

    ... br> They seemed to find any excuse to just dribble freezing, cold water on to you. Even the dinosaurs looked tragic, poor things. So, yeah...Unless you're in serious need of a rinse, or they decide to knock it down and rebuild something worth getting wet for (ay? You what?) ... Don't waste your time.

    ... comfortable and quiet environment after a shower in a private bathroom makes a nine-hour overnight layover not so irksome. I've still got quite a bit of flying and laying-over left to do until I reach the Land of Scholars and Saints, but thankfully things'll be a bit more comfortable than prostrating myself on the cold tile or cushion-less carpet of most terminals. Next stop: Dallas, followed by Boston, then Dublin for a 5:15am arrival on the 4th. I'm getting ...
