... all Hermosa was a great experience, met some cool people, Axelle and Hossein deserve a little mention too for their participation in the epic card games and drinking partners. Although we of course are very excited about heading to Fiji and doing a little island hopping, snorkelling and surfing, we were both gutted we had to leave Hermosa. To anyone who finds themselves in Los Angeles or in that part of California, if you get the opportunity to stay at Surf City Hostel in Hermosa, do ...

... carried this precious cargo from Burgundy through the Loire Valley, Normandy, on airplanes to Ireland, Scotland, by train to Windsor, England and finally to L.A. via Chicago before setting it down in front of my mother and daughter for its unveiling. All of the pictures we took was of original bowls and implements ...

... CityWalk where we visited the Hard Rock Cafe for dinner (with Strongbow yay!!). Dad had a very fatty pulled pork burger (still a damn sight better than the Mexican food!!) and I had the most amazing a Beef Brisket sandwich...mmmm! Found out the cinema on the walk has an IMAX so that was our next stop to see Hercules. I ordered a large coke which could have been mistaken for a small ...

... pretty god movies as my star ratings indicate.

I slept a little and the flight time was mercifully shorter than the other way being about 12 hours vs 15.

We arrived in LAX at around 8:30, 2 hours after our scheduled arrival, which meant by the time I cleared immigration and got my luggage and then changed Terminals I was probably going to miss my 10am connection with Spirit - which I did.
