We had the opportunity to stop in Doha, Qatar for a couple of nights on our way to Nepal. It was interesting to see this part of the Arab World and how its developing. We walked around the city, visited their ultra modern mall, and got a great tour of the main sites. ... We were impressed. We quickly dropped our stuff and went out in search of food and to check out the scene.

We were please to find a delicious Indian restaurant where we stuffed ourselves for approx. $5 each, we didn’t wander too far from the hotel, but enjoyed the little bit of Doha we saw. We are now heading to bed for a few hours of sleep before flying to Nairobi.
