... square of houses which surround a beautifully set out park which is at Place des Vosges (Sorry for any inaccuracies but don't have access to my travel book). I believe Victor Hugo lived there somewhere but we didn't locate the spot.

After a 3 hour walk we caught a taxi back to the hotel. We showered and packed.

Leaving the bags with the concierge we went to have a late lunch. There is what appears to be restaurant ...

... The interpretation was amazing and really gave a sense of both bedouin life and of an Arabic culture before the influence of the west.

New Dubai = high rise. Five star everything and the best. The architecture varies from the visionary to the mundane. New Dubai really typifies a 'can do' attitude politically and commercially and the building rate is phenomenal.
