Rough Seas; Calm "Cabin"
... view from our room and hurried to the main piazza to enjoy the last vestiges of the day. We found a place for dinner and watched the constant ramming of the waves on the jetty. It was pretty amazing to see waves crashing over the 6ft + rocky wall.

Exploring the Beautiful Cinque Terre
... end our day in Riamaggiore. If I were to come back, I would stay in Riamaggiore because it is not too difficult to access from the rail station. And the town had a nice mix of shops and restaurants but it was not as resort-like as Monterosso. We found a restaurant and enjoyed some dinner while the sun set.
Although we did not have the exact Cinque Terre experience we were planning for, it was still a lovely day in this picturesque part of the world.

... the cliff jutting out from the roadway…Gosh I hope it is still there when we are ready to leave. Of slight concern for Karyn was when the husband couldn't put the car in reverse… for an automatic it’s not all that hard! Still he managed to reverse it in in only 2 goes. Glad it wasn’t me..Our host, Lorenza then piles us and our bags into this tiny car and off we go driving through the smallest streets I have ever seen to our home for the next 4 ...
