... already been to about 80% of the places we plan visiting over the next three or four years. He dropped by this morning to have a look at the yacht and gave me a bit more advice. Always welcome from someone whose not just full of Bravado which many in the Sailing Fraternity seem to be.
We'll that's it for now. Tomorrow is Sunday and nothing happens on Sunday so I might go for a wander.

Well, almost done. Going to Cuba meant passing by St Martin, half Dutch/French island with a big international airport that does many connections in the Caribbeans. I didn't know anything about this island but let's at least spend few days there before Cuba.
There is only one hostel on the Dutch side, next to the airport so that would do for 2-3 days. Hostel but not cheap and pretty basic, Carribbean prices again :(. The place ...
major draw for this island, is the shopping. There are bargains to be
found, and St. Martin is duty-free for the most part. Marigot also
attracts those who seek couture and upscale imports from France.
Boutiques there fit the bill, reminding many of a more down-to-earth
version of St. Barth's.
Martin also has lots of cafes, bistros, and brasseries; most serving
up tasty creations with Gallic flavours ...
