... and Spanish moss trees all along the route. Passed by lots of bayou's all along the way. Kept looking out for alligators. Yikes!! Our first stop was in Duson, LA where we stayed at the Frog City RV Park. It was a nice park for the night and the folks were extremely hospitable. The area is known for its Boudin and Cracklins. ... the antiques, but wasn’t very knowledgeable about all. She just wasn’t a very good presenter. No pictures can be taken inside the house. As we were leaving there was a bride, groom, and their mothers working with a staff person to plan a wedding. Bet that’ll cost a pretty penny.

... museum does also display some of Kentwood's history....in one small room. It should be renamed the 'Britney Spears Museum' Before we got to Memphis we stopped by the Two sisters cafe for a spot of good southern food. The food here was amazing, fried chicken, creamed corn, grits, biscuits, sweet potato......food coma heaven! I loved this place and if anyone is ever in Jackson, Mississippi, you MUST go to eat ...

We came, we saw, we were turned away because no loads were ready... so we drove a bit down the road, and sat on our butts waiting, but luckily we got a new load, and its waiting in Louisiana for us. We are gonna snag it tomorrow morning then head on up to Wisconsin. Lots of nasty weather out there, several deaths, one in company even, so I am hoping we don't have to encounter any more of it.

... did we know that Nyla's actually doesn't exist in Kentwood at all, but rather in Osyka, Mississippi (thanks to info from a local at a gas station) that was only 5 miles away from Kentwood.
