Visiting our friends Dionne, Andy and Squirt has been the highlight of our trip. We headed south out of St. Louis on the I-44 before getting off and exploring some rural routes in the Ozarks.

The rain was persistent and visibility was limited but the drive was still beautiful.

As we got closer the GPS took us off the rural route and onto some smaller roads. I ...

... Mark was excited to see the view from 630 feet, I on the other hand panicked! I stayed at the entrance to the viewpoint and Mark went off to take photos. I started to feel sick and dizzy and did not want to move. A few people asked if I was okay, I nodded. I managed to get a photo with Mark before rooting myself back to a point of safety, i.e. Where I couldn't see down. Mark went off bouncing about taking snaps of the view. When Mark said he was ready ...

... North America. It's called 'Just Cruizin' and is available on Amazon. After meeting Douglas and having a beer inside The Elbow Inn I ordered the book for reading back home. The bar itself is like something out of the movies, full of bikers, everyone of them happy to chat to you and interested in what you were doing and where you had travelled from. The ceiling of the bar is decorated in bras, yes bras left and signed by female visitors. Pauline was going to get one out ...
