This meant more treading through snow; it was at least 3 inches deep, up to 6+ inches in some areas, so we didn't really know where the paths were underneath all that snow. It was like cross country snow trekking - sometimes our foot would sink down to our knees if we hit a ditch. Anyway there wasnt any laundromats near by so we got a taxi to the closest one- which was practically 'the hood'. This took about an hour total but it was so worth. After this we dropped the clothes back to the hotel and headed out to explore more of the city. This lead us to Millenium Park which has the famous 'Bean'. It is a giant reflective object in the centre of the park that has become a focal ...

Today we set of for our last day in the windy city and boy was it windy and cold, unlike Australia not many of the shops open on New Years day we ventured to the sky deck only to find that visibility was zero 1355ft up the tower after lunch and more of a wander around we headed back to get ready for our flight to san Francisco tomorrow and the thought of some warmth has us all excited about what lies ahead over the coming two ...
