    ... for the start of Route 66 (remember we did it backwards as Santa Monica is the end point) in a park on Adams St. We are so happy that we've accomplished the Route 66 road trip. We take our happy snaps and start the Loop walk.

    The walk just showcases some of the nicer architecture around the city. It is a mix of modern like the Trump Tower to the classic such as the Chicago Tribune building.

When we saw him and started talking to him we got a great idea to find someone in every city we go to who we thought symbolized the city or represented the city for us a la Humans of New York.     ... out we noticed the staff had stuck a photo of cute labrador puppies next to the camera so the take peoples minds of being 103 floors up and on glass. Clever idea but didnt work for us. Once the pic was taken we moved off the glass and shifted along the firther windows admiring the vistas.     ... home of the deep dish pizza, Pizzeria Uno. Walking off all our pizza to the Navy Pier and through the promenade. We then had a relaxing walk all the way back to the hostel up the promenade and through Lincoln Park, stopping at the drug store for some yogurt dinner and wine after making the most out of the day.
