With the wonders of modern travel, Virgin Airlines get us to Gatwick half an hour early at 5.20 am on 30th December, after the usual arrival formalities I manage to load all our suitcases and rucksacks onto a trolley and head through the arrivals scrummage and into the increasing cold in Gatwick Railway station to try and sort a change of ticket from our original February return to immediate ones. Its a slow train stopping at every conceivable place but eventually we are at the Virgin desk, booked in, cases gone and at the restaurant of the Premier Inn wine in hand! When the time arrives, we'll do all we can to avoid the toshiba! Roast chicken in French stick went without incident, Toshiba guy looked a little surprised as the French stick arrived, followed by salt, pepper, ketchup, butter and a bread knife to carve the chicken with, but we managed to avoid getting ...

... 8230; yep it's Irina herself. There are notices dotted all over for one of Ted's installations called 'The Light Box', which is claimed to be a re-definition of the concept of beauty that will change our view of the word forever, and we only have to ask to be allowed to see it. This place is now starting to feel unsettling, and even more so because we can't quite figure out why. There's more tiny oddities I haven't mentioned (it would take too long) and whilst none of ...
