... us at Deer Lodge, a country-themed hotel with a comfortable lounge with armchairs and fireplace. There's an outdoor hot tub which we availed ourselves of on Saturday night. After a late-afternoon walk along the lakeside path, oohing and aahing over the beautiful turquoise water and steep-sided mountains, we had a good dinner at the lodge's dining room, continuing our catching-up on the past ten years of our lives.

It was a small room, but for the price it was quite acceptable, and a fraction of the cost of the adjacent Fairmont.
Friendly staff, free internet with printer, warm, and comfortable.
