      • Woke up and ready to get back on the road!
      • Still had quite a few snacks left, so i just filled up my tank and grabbed some ice
      • Back on the road and headed for New Mexico!
      • After a little over a 4 hour drive I arrived in SoCorro, NM
      • Tired from the drive, I just relaxed in my car
      • I played some guitar for awhile and then read my book
      • I had a few more of my snacks for dinner then went to sleep

      We un-packed and re-packed the Outback at the Las Cruces campsite, then headed north for Silver City, NM, passing some larger-than-life characters (see pics), a cow in the middle of the road (see pic), and a ghost town (un-photographable, as ghosts are).

      We arrived at Silver City (copper mining town....see pic) shortly before lunch, where we found a local food co-op and Holly snagged a curry tofu ...

      ... it to its former glory days. It was cute and unique. We got up and had breakfast with a fellow border at 6ish and actually started our ride at 8. Honestly, thinking that we did not want to be passed up by the old folks. There was construction on the road to Lordsburg, NM.
