This is the first time on a four lane limited access highway that we have been treated to such extended and beautiful scenery. Unfortunately the photos do not adequately capture the colors and depth, so partly you will just have to trust us, difficult as that is.

I made it back to the bus for 10.45. They could have allowed another 20 mins for this part of the tour to explore the grounds. The schedule is tight because of the unpredictable tour time slots at Neuschwanstein coming up so they have to leave a larger window for that.

Before getting dinner though we attempted to find the local shop that sold milk, as we had read about it in the apartments information folder. The wifi wasn’t working to check a map but we thought the town was so small it couldn’t be too hard to find it in the 20 minutes that we had until it closed.
