We drove around some if the local villages increasing our property portfolio with villas for sale with sea and snow topped mountain views, before getting on the national road to Rethymno. We parked in the same spot as on our last visit and walked into the centre. In the more modern part of tiwn there is carols playing through a loud speaker system, a warm sunny day and there are lots if people wandering around and enjoying ...

      Happy Christmas everyone!
With out any presents to open this year we had eaten our breakfast of freshly squeezed orange juice (still working our way through the fruit bowl) and croissants and were on the beach by 9.00am. It's lovely and warm, we walked quite a way throwing the ball for Logan, he has to earn it though, doing tricks or basic obedience. ...

... we kiss each other and give wishes. Then we exchange presents and eat the New Year’s Cake! When we make it, we hide a coin in it. So, when it’s time to eat it, we cut it in pieces and each one of us, takes one. The first piece is for Jesus, the Saints and for our ‘home’. The rest are for us, starting from the oldest to the youngest member of the family. Whoever finds the coin will be the luckiest person for the ...
