... in danger or anything, just super uncomfortable for a first venture out really. We have since been back to the market nearby a couple of times with no further incidents. We also visited a local mall a couple of times, but nothing felt out of the ordinary with it. There are several well known american brand stores there, mixed in with places with more traditional Indian clothing. The mall even has a Chili's. It is exactly the same. Minus the beef products. At home I only go to Chili's ...

Well just have to go back to walking to main gate before hand. Adhya today was ...

After breakfast we all once again tried to complete our online registration in order to then get an appointment. After another few hours we did it! Wow it was such a relief. We all were able to get appointments for the 6th to go in person and turn in all of our documents.

Sumana gives us the best advice. She told us to do what an Indian girl does don't do what an Indian girl doesn't do. We met her in the morning around 11:45 to head to the mall. She was in the middle of ...

After dinner tonight, Nina, Emmy, Savannah, Shannon and I wandered to South Gate (Gopanpalli) to grab some sweets. South Gate is the same area that I previously mentioned towards the beginning of my time here. It is the small town that was kind of eery - I was pretty sure that the locals never seen a white person before.

This experience was so incredibly different and my mindset of South Gate has ...
