    The Past Catches up!

... journey. It was a massive memory with some strong feelings.

It it was extraordinarily useful to get in touch with those feelings and I decided that Pune had nothing more to offer. I may be completely wrong about the ashram; it attracts Indians and westerners alike but for me it looked far too cultish and needy with its easily identifiable gowns. I felt that all westerners were automatically associated with the ashram by the locals; opinions seems ...

I'll miss the shower in Nasik. Very original and novel. See the video attached. It was an early start this morning in Nasik; 5am. I had a train to catch at 7.10 and I didn't have a clue on which platform to stand on or indeed whereabouts on that platform. ... a lift with another guy to the Bollywood nightclub venue, I will have to take his word for it - Jane informs me it was Ashish.

The nightclub was outside in a large courtyard. There was a stage where he DJs and Ketan did their thing! The music was Indian in style and the beat was perfect. I hadn't expected to enjoy it as much I did. We danced and met lots of lovely people.

On the way home Pranav opened the sun roof, stood up and ushered me to do the ...

... nightclub we would be going to was owned by Pranav's friend. He went to London, went to a penthouse nightclub, came back to Pune and made his own. It is now one of the most popular nightclubs in Pune. It didn't matter we had trainers, we would get in! Pranav knew the owner!

We enjoyed several Jonnie Walkers in the back of the car while we waited for Pranav's usual parking space to be free. It was a smart club, open air on the top of a ...
