Our current hotel is one of the nicer ones we have stayed in during our trip & Fort Worth is really lovely. We headed to the historic Stockyard district this morning, cowboy central! It is a beautiful area full of Western stores & BBQ restaurants. We spent most of the day looking around & we watched the daily ...

We invested in an electric kettle(for cups of tea) a slow cooker to save on meals, plus the plastic wear and utensils to camp in motel rooms. We also bought a large car fridge to carry necessities such as eggs ...

It is Sunday, March 2, 2014. We spent the night with my mother then loaded to start our first adventure to explore the west side of the United States. As we arrived in the Dallas area we were greeted with an ice storm!! This was a challenge to drive through to arrive at Runaway Bay, Texas. Yes, it slowed us down but it wasn't severe enough that we had to stop as Galen persevered through all the white storm ...
