Saying goodbye is always so tough & today was no different as we parted ways with our friends. They headed south to Houston & we headed West to Dallas. I loaded them up with Elvis memorabilia to pass on to my mum & we left them & drove West to Parker, Texas & the SouthFork Ranch! The ranch house was lovely but really had no real relevance to the Dallas show as the show only ever filmed outside. ...

We've made our last run to Alex's (Dessa's son) attic to trade off our remaining work wardrobe for our more casual and warmer attire. The closet has been reworked and as hard as it might be to believe I actually have almost half the space. Dessa has had to do a lot of culling of shoes, boots, jeans, ... but she's done it and I'm very proud of ...

... of the season has been a bit more rough than in years past, I think we were all grateful for a couple of days off.

Today was all about relaxing...I slept in, had breakfast, hung out with friends, enjoyed the sunshine, and attempted to take a Zumba class on the lot. Haha. While at Runaway Bay we played golf and were treated as special guests as this is one of our investment perks. While this is the ending of the winter months the golf course reflects some of the hardship from the lack of rain during the fall season. We would like to come back to the course during the peak season to see the improvements that are to follow.
