... we settled up the tab and paid for 30 gallons of 100LL at (wait for it....) $6.82/ gallon!!!! I guess the "free" shuttle ride and "complimentary" courtesy car were being paid for somehow after all. That's over $2.50/gallon more than the average fuel price we'd paid so far, and almost $1/gallon more than fuel in the Bahamas. ... housework and maintenance would be enormous. One home, the James Newton and Eva Tabor-Rayzor house was completed in 1909 and is a "Prairie Style" house. Their descendants lived in it until 1978. It has a state of Texas historic plate on it. The street is lined with Post Oaks, which are endemic to this area, they really set a serene, stately scene as you walk along.
