Our trip back was uneventful PTL!!!! Very tiring but nothing out of the ordinary happened so we made it home on time!!! The venue itself was pretty nice, and we had a really fun crew. They were so efficient and good that we had our fastest load out to date.

Decatur, AL claims to be a "Grand City on a Charming Scale"... now, I don't really buy that, but I will say, I found it's alternative title "Home of Meow Mix" to be the most exciting aspect of the city. We passed the giant Meow Mix factory on the way out of town. Sadly, it left it's jingle of singing cats in my head for about 5 min.

We woke up this morning to Tim's snoring and I don't think Ashlan moved one inch. So two things.. was she scared..or was she tired? I am going to go with tired. They stayed up till 1am chatting. Although I heard other rooms had childrens who were up till almost 3am chatting. This is why we came a day early. These kids were draaaaaaaaging this morning. We all split up. Tim, Mike and Stan decided to go get a new goalie ...

OK, I started this blog on June 7. It's actually way before June 19 and I'm getting ready. For months, I've researched things to do and places to stay. For this trip - like I did in 2005 - I have a notebook which shows the itinerary for each day, where I'll stay, and notes.

AND JOY. SHE IS A SWEETHEART! SHE LOVED FEEDING THE FISH

I FOUND WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR IN THIS TRIP TO THE ECHOTA CHEROKEE INDIAN POWWOW. WOW WOULD DESCRIBE THIS TRIP ... BUT THE WORD WONDEROUS DESCRIBES THIS TRIP EVEN BETTER! TODAY WE TOOK LITTLE BIT OF A WHOLE LOT TO GET PIZZA AT CHUCKEY CHEESE. THIS WAS OUR FIRST TIME TO TAKE A GRAND-CHILD TO EAT PIZZA HERE. NO WE DID NOT RIDE THE RIDES BUT WE SURE HAD A LOT OF FUN WATCHING HER RIDE AND WATCH THE OTHER CHILDREN. I AM NOT SURE HOW SHE LIKED CHUCKEY CHEESE AND HIS GANG SINGING BUT THE REST INSIDE THIS PIZZA PLACE SHE DID LIKE. I AM SURE WE WILL BE GOING BACK1
