We landed in Libreville, Gabon to let some passengers off and to pick up some others. After all the departing passengers got off the plane, the flight attendants verified the owner of each carry-on bag in the overhead bins. Each of us had to claim our bags. This took several minutes but was a good security measure. Then they sprayed the plane for mosquitos. They reassured us that this spray was not harmful to us. How does it kill mosquitos, then? The service consisted of two split sermons. I spoke on the concept of pride vs. humility and the example of service that Christ set for us all. Mr. Mickelson spoke on the life of Sampson and the lessons we can learn of repentance and seeking God's perfect will to be done in our lives.
