    ... by a challenge we headed up to the glacier. It took about an hour and at the Chalet, we stopped and had lunch - great salad made fresh from the owners garden with goat cheese from the town we had just left. Delicious! As we had come a different route, we had to continue climbing up to Les Grand Dessus and then traverse around the mountain to the col de Balme.     Angela delighted us with her staying for two days. When you don't get to see someone but every few years, you grab at as much time as you can get!!!

    ... we dropped Meg of at her music camp. Very organized and the resident chalet is run by Altitude which does all kinds of camps from young kids to teens in the winter as well as summer. We met the supervisor there who happened to be from Scotland. Meg shared a room with 2 other girls, one from Armenia and the other Russia. There are four chalets all together and each chalet can hold about 12-16 people. The whole music camp only consists of about 60 over teens, just barely made ...
