... so I could check on reservations to Amsterdam Monday. Sam was awesome once again but still panicked many times in the middle of the street. She always assures us that she does not panic and that her foot simply fell off her pedals. Lucy and Ben saw none of the beautiful windmills because Ben was in the lead and Lucy was trying to run him over.

The 'rents and I made the trek to Ghent, Belgium early Wednesday morning. Right away we could see there was an event going on in the city and parking was going to be hard to find. We parked for free in a creepy alley though and called it good. As we approached the downtown area, we could see a band playing on a big stage set up. Remember, it was only 8am. I headed of to a beer tasting with Kai while rach did whatever she does haha Beer tasting was awsome got to try 5 beers with a full beer at the end. All the beers were good ranging from 5%-10% with some dark, white and wheat ones. They even had a few of what are called 'Trappist beers' ie beers brewed by Monks- these are seen to be some of the best beers ...
