    ... be in belgium!!! We shopped around for some boots for jason (without luck) and headed back to the train station grabbed some more cherry beer for the way and jumped back on our train. We were wrecked by the time we got home so we used the rest of our groceries to cook some more dinner the same as last night, played some cards and went to bed again as we wanted to get an early bus to Amsterdam the next ...

    Woke up to another sunny day ...managed to get the kids moving by 10:30 this time. Breakfast at Prestige Pastierre for waffles (rated #1 spot) but kids say it was disappointing. Eggs were good but all way overpriced.
    Rented our bicycles for the day and headed through the cobbled streets to the outskirts of town looking for a park to get in a work out. Headed out to Damme about 6.8km..it was a very pretty ride..big ...

    ... the Pooh there was more meaning to the tales and they were not originally for children per see). From what I can gather the illustrations that are most known came from these versions, not 100% sure on that though/

    Thought I may find herrings in Damme as they have a herring market noted but no luck on that due to the season I think so guess I have to satisfy my culinary urges with chocolate.

    But I can’t tell you how pleased I was to spot a massive heavy lift crane alongside us when I came back on board this afternoon. There in the hold, aft of the accommodation, were two huge covered shapes taking up about 12 container bays (they can’t load a container on top of them!) and being secured with straps in a similar way that cargo was secured of old.

    This past Saturday the ISA group travelled by train to the largest tourist destination in Belgium: Bruges. Or, if you prefer, Brugge. This city was once a hot spot in the cloth trading business but it's harbor silted up and ships could no longer reach it. This made the city irrelevant and froze it in time for the last 800 years.
