Colditz was the most well known of the many camps as they put all the men who kept trying to escape there. The men were treated much better than the Germans in the other camps we have visited. They were sent parcels from home and could see a doctor or dentist if they needed to. They got very bored so spent all their time trying to escape.

On June 11th we will travel to the US for the first time. We are flying with a turbo prop to Amsterdam and from there to JFK. We will stay a week in NYC before continuing to LAX and from there explore California and some of the US' southwest.
