Jos and Fenny take me to nearby Assen to see the Drents Museum (gallery). The building is old, not surprising, and has been lifted to allow windows to be placed at the bottom. In the late afternoon sun people were enjoying a drink and relaxing, with an outlook over their natural swimming pool and fields beyond. It was delightful to meet the new members of the family - ...

... Again so mild at 7:30 at night outside. Then we went home. Aunty Hennie is marvellous with all the driving she does at her age. Spent evening packing. Whatsapped Willow. Then unbelievably she Skyped ! It was so wonderful to see the girls. They were eating breakfast and were well behaved. They got to say hello to Aunty Hennie also. And the dog put in a great show which they loved. So I got to see all my family today except Johnny. Up ...
