    ... I showed up at 9 p.m. just in case. Of course, no one was there. I tried to talk to some guy who was standing in front of the buses but he didn't seem to know what I was talking about. I called May and she translated some things for me, but the real matter was that I'd have to go and find a place to sleep until the morning. Ugh. Beautiful mountain, horrible bus service.

    ... visa. This **** was getting ridiculous! …but as of
    leaving Zhuji, passport in the hands of the precarious Zhejiang police
    department, well let’s just say I felt a bit uneasy with the 2 weeks to come
    ahead and a BIT worn out of the process.

    ... throne of mass bags in the hot-ass parking lot for an hour, MAN WAS I GLAD TO SEE AN ELEVATOR AT MY FANCY SCHOOL!...so made it and unloaded and new key to my apt in hand on the 16th floor of Hailing…Richard and I took off to “take care” of my visa etc. for next year and get “all squared away,” for my “smooth” return… (Could I emphasize the sarcasm anymore???)
