On the road again, we are heading further south to La Rochelle in search of the elusive sunshine! Girls always give bisoux, guys don’t
always. Guys will give bisoux to girls and children, sometimes to
other guys, but I have seen guys shake hands instead too. Or give a
handshake then the bisoux. Like guys in Canada, shaking hands and
then going in for a masculine bro hug.
In my experience, I really don’t mind
the bisoux. It means you get to kiss some cute guys every once in a
while. (haha, just kidding, kind of) But really, ...
... vacation and a great way to get to know each other even more. I
feel that when people travel together, they tell more stories about
their lives or confide in each other more about what they would like
to do in the future.
Hopefully it really is sunnier in the
South of France while we are there because this past weekend was
rain, rain, rain on the West coast, but I guess that’s what I get
to look forward to this winter.

... at the local betting shop/bar we we're put in touch with a chamber d'hôtel with vacancies for 4 cyclists and two tandems. Sadly they weren't serving evening meals so we had to find a restaurant to eat before coping with our night at the chamber.
