... flight, which means I get into Aarus about 230 am... but seeing how I ma about 4 hrs difference, I am good ... at least for tonight.

So anyway, this trip will eventually get me to Aarhus, meanwhile maybe I should go charge my phone like these young ladies were...

Tomorrow it promises to be Aarhus with team O3.

... visiting the fields of Flanders and learning about various World War One battles. Belgium is flat like Holland so the soldiers were able to spot their enemies far in advance. There is still so much live ammunition strewn throughout the fields that local farmers are occasionally blown up! Unfortunately it was freezing there and I'd been spoiled- after 4 months of summer, Brrrr! Now I'm in New York and it's even colder....but that's my next ...

... time that we might even learn some Dutch! It is a language that makes a fair amount of sense to us, with much in common with English when you hear it spoken. I practiced a bit today, using a phrase sheet provided by the hotel, successfully asking another waiting passenger how to say "knitting" in Dutch after she asked what I was making (and which I can now say but have NO idea how to spell,) and asking for our bill after dinner! ... to see Dad's uncle Wim and his partner Humphrey (not B. Bear). Once we were back in the city, we got on the metro that took us out to their place, and met Wim who took us on the 5 minute walk back to their apartment. As with all of Dad's other relatives, it was a little bit awkward at first, given the fact that we'd basically never met them (save for when I was 2, and I don't think I was like I am now back then). But at least they spoke a little bit of English. ...
