It has been a saviour for all my boring airport time. I woke up around 5.30am needing to go to the bathroom. We have a toilet and separate shower in the room of 8 beds. I don't know if I broke some protocol in doing so, but at least I was on the bus. It took another three or so hours to get to the ferry, during which time our crazy bus driver made someone move from their seat so that a lady with a priority ticket could sit there (there are no priority tickets, she admitted that she ...

Getting to know Paris again...

... for handling Paris in the summer is to hide in city parks during the day, which are beautiful, and descend on Paris in the evening when many of the tourists are sleeping. It's been very successful so far. Back to Parc de la Villette. Unfortunately we're not quite sure why Christine recommended we go, because to us it looks like a run down Olympic park that hasn't been well received by locals. It is the largest park in Paris but in terms ...
