... also great. It was 9.45 by the time we got out and time for a glass of vino. So hopped on the metro to Juvs. Spoke to Laurence on the way who was in Paris and arranged to meet her. Delicious plate of fois gras for Jeff terrine for Laurence and cheese plate for moi but we all had a bit of everything. Perfect with a couple of glasses of Cornas. ... Not a bad history lesson for a morning run. Back towards home, I turned my head to the left and saw the very beautiful (and now equally familiar) Val-de-Grace greet me at the bottom of the street of Boulevard Saint Michel. I also passed the ENS (École Normale Supérieure) des Mines - one of France's top engineering universities - and swathes of other university buildings, including the home of Université Paris V René Descartes.
