... to central London to return the car, no damages or chips, all good. On the way we called into Henley to see the rowing course and the river Thames from a different perspective.

... change from the Quais. It was quiet, and a few of the shops were open. We even found a bank that would take my ATM card, so now we have cash! We ended at the Pompidou Centre, which we both agreed is unfortunate.

After a brief return to the flat to get grocery bags, we went to the store to buy soup, bread, cheese, and other nibbles. Then to a bottle shop to get wine. Then back to the flat to eat. Then I worked (what a vacation) while Kyla napped.
