After leaving the Piedmont region of Italy, and before heading back to Geneva for the airport, we made a quick two-day stop in the beautiful French alpine town of Chamonix. ... had been faithfully carrying in what seemed like the vain hope of a beautiful sunrise or sunset. Now we were all over it shooting stars glistening above the mountains and above the Cabane. You name it we shot it until nearly 11:00. Now we have to set the alarm for 5:00-6:00 am to get the morning light on these wonderful scenes. I hope we can do them justice because we really want you to see what was so thrilling for us.
