Mass in France
... people attending the mass I had an overwhelming feeling of comfort. Even if we had nothing else at all in common - we at least had our faith all bring us together for one hour this week at the Cathedral.

... plates?! We had green bean casserole.. which was really just soup green beans and onions because the french apparently don't like bread crumbs... We had stuffing which was delicious and tasted like home, we had "cranberry sauce" which was really a home made jam that Ashley and I somehow put together with raspberries, apple, OJ, cranberry juice, sugar and wine... don't ask... it tasted good. Encore une nuit ecourtee, mais cette fois-ci, ce n'etait pas l'alarme incendie. C'etait plustot une fille saoule a 4h30am qui ne se souvenait plus du code pour ouvrir la porte de l'hotel. ... case didn't work. The best part was that Jarrod (who is one of Bethany's friends - a professional basketball player for La Rochelle) had to eat all the left overs! He's 6' 8", a professional athlete, and even he was stuffed to the brim! Jarrod gave me a ride back downtown and it was absolutely hysterical watching a 6'8" boy get into a French/European car.
