Goodbye to our Blackforest accommodation, the Silberdistel. We drove from Hinterzarten to Hirschsprung to Freiburg. We parked in the suburbs of Freiburg and took the tram into the Alt Stadt. We used our tourist card from the Hotel for free transport. We got off at the Oberlinden Fountain. We walked around the old town and the beautiful buildings and ...

After leaving Constance we headed toward the Rhine Falls. The drive was all along the boarder of Switzerland and Germany and the Rhine River and it was good to be off the motorways. After a few more missed turns( French road signs at bit confusing and GPS not able to count number of exits accurately)and a stop in a quaint little village for lunch, we realise we are not going to get there by 4. SMS our landlady and push arrival time out to 5 and reprogrammed GPS to ...

... our Australian accent. Well it turned out that these guys were from Wellington Point! Before long the line was long and we were very happy to be at the front. As we entered the clock area, we jostled to get the best position to see the film over on the side, but also to be at the front of the clock for the movements. It soon became sardine city as more and more people crammed into the clock area. We were arm to arm with other people, and I was most unhappy to smell ...
