After an incredibly long flight from Singapore (sitting next to a man who coughed the whole way) and 3 trains later, we arrived in Rouen. Jenny was there to meet us at the station and it was so good to see her! As our accommodation wasnt ready we went to Jennys apartment to have a rest and shower. When we arrived at our accommodation we were geeted by Mathilde who helped me lug my case upstairs! The apartment is small but cute ...

... alone, try being alone in a foreign country where you can't comprehend anything anyone is saying

-Most restaurants don't serve food in the afternoon. After 1:00 pm or so, they just stop and either close or only serve beverages until supper time. I was trying to eat something around 3:00 today, took forever to find a place that was serving food

-Haven't seen any american cars at all in france so far. Lots of citroens, Renault's, opels, pugeots, ...
