How good is this place? The nicest people we have met in Europe have been up in the north, and Belgium and the Nederlands is no exception. if you buy something in a shop they speak english. Not reluctantly but they are happy to. just because it helps. people in the street speak english when they realise you are not local ( which takes about a nanosecond). The cycling journey continues
... Day three was on an island called Texel and included a visit to a marine park called Ecomare where we saw porpoises, seals and learnt about the fraught relationship the Dutch people have with the sea. It's not been without it's drama. One woman got a DNF (that's did not finish) when she broke her leg on day two. ... zouden we verschillende riviercruises doen en een aantal junglewalks. Midden in de jungle verbleven we in een simpele dorm.
