A travel blog entry by imdbling on Dec 18, 2014

When I asked about switching to another flight they said I would need to go and talk to Transavia, which was back in Terminal 1.

Already having spent a lost 6 hours in the airport at this point, I walked again back to terminal 1 with the Bulgarian women to try and see if something could be done. I didn't want ...

There was something about that Beetle, left-hand-drive with rust forming in the usual Beetle places, parked up at the side of the road. I loved the sight of it, the feel of the city and just being in the Netherlands.

... tour lasted an hour before we were back where we started.
We had a bit of a walk through the city back to the water ferry. On the way we passed the port where my oma and opa (grandparents) emmigrated to Australia with my dad over 50 years ago. The waterbus had us back at the car before long and home to a delicious enchilada dinner. Lekker (delicious) is becoming my most useful Dutch word.
After dinner Nat, Jan and I squared off in ...
