    ... to enjoy the beautiful Het Loo gardens. Trimmed hedges, monuments, bright green grass, and the refreshing spray sound and sight of grand fountains made for a relaxing stroll in the sunshine.
    There was time for a cool drink and croquette in Hendriks old garage turned cafe, before heading for home.
    Joke cooked us a delicious pasta dinner, and we stayed up late playing Scrabble! Nat snatched victory from me by a single ...

    ... loonies in trainers, wiht kit bags that I thought there was a chance the run would take place. It was also at this unplanned stop that we were all given coffee to make up for the delay to our train (which was only 20 minutes) - are you listening UK train providers.

    Once we disembarked at the larger than expected town of Apeldoorn, there was no question that the marathon was on as runners were evrywhere and there was a free shuttle bus for the mile ...

    ... in,we did not get up till nearly 8am. We went to visit Ron & Monique in Nieuwerkerk a/d IJssel.
    The day turned out to be another great day,nice warm day,great food,and drinks and song!!
    All the fabulous people there made it for a day to remember.Today promises much of the same,we are of to The Haque and Scheveningen!
    I will keep you informed!

    ... I headed our way and bypassed the red light district :( no hookers for us.
