    ... eat our way through Brussels and then back off a little the rest of the trip. Chocolate, French Fries, Waffles, and Beer. What more could we ask for? Since by the time we reached the shawarma place, it had started to snow, we spent about an hour inside savoring the fries, putting on an extra pair of pants, and making myself a head scarf because it was so cold out.     ... I think we were both surprised at the reality of it all..

    The concert was basically a mix of a whole bunch of popular DJs mixing techno and dub step music. That is the first time that I can honestly say that I feel like I was at a rave. There was some pretty trippy decoration and all kinds of different people. There was all kinds of 'partying' going on and lots of hands in the air.. I would like to say some of the details of what the DJs said ...

    ... get the whole thing in one shot :( Then we figure out how to get home. Pass by the Collumn of Congress (we passed yesterday) to a picture - check out the sky. The weather is clearing now and instead of grey the sun is coming and its like about 6pm. Im nackered. Not really coping with this cold. It was about 0C when we left this morning and then got to maybe 12C. But its been a great day... Brussels is UGLY but its growing on me.

    ... If you order a coffee, the cafe views to produce the best munchy to go with it-we had everything from chocolates, to buns, to biscuits, to doughnuts-all free. Marvellous.
    Of course, it is justly famous for itīs chocolate...so we became best customers for two weeks of a little shop near the cathedral. By the end the owner was giving us free samples. Donīt know how green that was, but didnīt care.
    The diamond areais, of course, worth a gawp, just at the window displays. Wortha ...

    ... breaks at 12:30 for lunch.  Needless to say, we arrived just in time to miss the final crossing, and watched as the two ferry workers closed the gate and told us they were off to lunch. We did manage to catch the second ferry needed to cross the canal, which was a good thing because there was no nearby alternative to the ferry.  I the town of Boom, we cycled through an old brickworks..see picture..
