The next day we decided to go to Cluny to visit the Abbey and the town centre. We were lucky, as it was Saturday, and there was a market on. ... street we came to the square which had a beautiful wooden house on the corner that is very well known. Further down the same street was the Hotel de Ville and St. Peter's cathedral. This was very beautiful. Of course, we went inside. It is a very old Gothic cathedral with the altar draped for Ascension Day. We then stopped at a local cafe and had cappuccino.

There will be a wine and cheese tasting this afternoon.
